Snack Offering: Chicken hearts & bile

I went to buy chicken hearts at the local store and I noticed one spoilt packet with hearts dyed green from bile (tshavhutungu) that was left attached to one heart. Bile causes the whole meat to be bitter.

Proverbs 4:23 NLT  Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

Be careful not to be involved with people whose hearts are bitter, whether romantically or as friends or council; they will spoil your life and everyone else that you interact with.  “Hurt people hurt people!” Guard your heart! 


1 Corinthians 15:33 AMP  33  Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.

You get the picture!

Of course,  if you are a chicken you wont have guts to protect your heart after this but if you are not, you will kick people you dont need out of your life!
