Have you ever seen how proud and happy pregnant women look? What I like the most is that you can not go to a pregnant woman and tell her that she is barren or can never have children. What is amazing is that some could only be two days pregnant but they would rejoice and jump around as if the baby is already delivered. At some stage they do baby showers giving each other gifts ( and we, the boys, come later for an after party, you cant leave us out, we are involved in this baby production thing and we’ll still come to do other after parties for the baby’s birthday parties too, You cant leave us out like that, you guys only carry the baby for 9 months but we carry them for years…. not just one but Trillions of them, come on ladies, be considerate and sensitive !).Hebrews 11:1 NLT Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Guys, , We are called to live by faith and not by what we see. By now the children of God should have the faith or confidence of a pregnant woman for those things God promised or whatever you believe God for. You do not have to see it to believe it, you actually believe it to see it. Nobody should succeed in discouraging you even if you don’t see it.
Growing up, I came to accept that everything in God’s creation (the world), work in order and time. you can imagine what happens if you force the baby out before time. You need hope and patience through out the 9 months of waiting. When you are pregnant and people tell you that you cant have babies, you just look at the stomach and that should be enough to make you excited .
Romans 10:17 KJV So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We have the word of God that we need to look and believe while we are waiting. God hates disbelieve (Heb. 11:6) and He is in the future, so whatever He tells you, believe. Don’t be like Jeremiah giving excuses that he is young. Don’t look at yourself as you are. God sees the future, so just believe His word and resist the devil (he shall flee from you).
I also hear that few seconds before the baby comes, there is a lot of pain. Guys, there you have it, when you go through the hardest time, you know what time it is… so James 1:2 NLT Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
I have seen women who are pregnant, starting to go to the gym, eating right and reading babies’ magazines. Dont be liuke the foolish virgins, who knew the groom is coming but dont prepare. You can not pray for a husband but you don’t work on yourself to be a good wife but expect a happy family. Use opportunities like being submissive to your boss (because you have read that you have to be submissive). If you smoke and drink while pregnant, you know what kind of a baby you might give birth to and you have no one to blame. So, let us get exited and live as if we have seen those things that we are hoping for. They exist and are real although we have not seen them yet. Oppose Satan with God’s word, stab him with that sword till he runs.
