SNACK OFFERING : OUT OF ORDER!

Today I went to the bathroom at work and saw the paper towel machine with a note saying ‘ Out of Order’ and when I got closer, I could see the paper inside, the handle and everything that the machine use; Everything seemed to be operational.

I then got a thought that the machine is not broken or not operational- it is out of order – meaning it operates but not in the designed order. It is dysfunctional.

Likewise, when we walk in the ways that are not designed by God, we are out of order. Yes, we can operate but if we operate not in the order (ways) of the designer, then we cause damage around.


1. We know that we must eat and we can eat more than the stomach and body can handle. As a results we get unhealthy.

2. We know that a male and female must engage in sex but if we do it with everybody and anyhow, we end up sick physically, mentally and spiritually.

3. We know that men and women are equal and meant to stay together in unity but if women are not submissive (independent mentality) or men are not loving i.e. abusive. U know the results.

That’s what sin is. Sin is not something that hurts God or the ten commandments or stuff forbidden in the bible. SIN IS SOMETHING THAT IF DONE, IT COMES BACK AND BITES YOU (DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY). WHEN YOU LIVE IN SIN YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER.

SOMETHING OUT OF ORDER IS NEVER THROWN AWAY BUT KEPT BECAUSE IT IS STILL USEFUL AND CAN BE FIXED. WE PUT A NOTE AROUND IT AND CALL THE MAKERS (SUPPLIERS) TO COME FIX IT.

MY LORDS, WE CAN ALWAYS TURN TO GOD OUR DESIGNER AND SUPPLIER OF LIFE TO FIX OUR SINFUL LIFE. SOME DYSFUNCTIONS TAKE LONGER THAN OTHERS BUT TRUST IN THE MAKER TO FIX YOU.
