SNACK OFFERING : PULLING THE PULLING

We were late for a meeting with a sister I was traveling with and as we hurried up the venue, we came to a steep area. I decided to help the struggling sister by pulling her with a hand but she also started pulling back resisting. We ended up not moving because she used so much power to pull back.

SHE USED MORE POWER TO PULL BACK. SHE COULD HAVE USED THIS POWER TO REACH HER DESTINY OR GOAL.

There is a Venda saying that translate ‘you can  help/pull ( a fallen donkey on the ground) only if it is trying to pulling itself up ( but failing)’

MOST PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PUT MUCH EFFORT TO PROVE HOW DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE IT IS, THAN BELIEVING IT IS POSSIBLE.

 To me, Fear is faith in a reverse direction. People yield for fear than for faith because it seems safe (ironically) to blame the others and surrounding evironments than themselves. It's eaz

 Many women rather believe that all men are dogs and bad than to believe in love or the existence of good men (through God) = because they fear believing and end up being hurt.

 Pharisees put much effort trying to stop, change and trick Jesus instead of accepting the truth. Their loosing game grew bigger until they killed Him but still lost – He gain more fame and influence (I gues 'if you can’t beat them join them!')

 Religion would teach you to feel good about obeying the laws and remain safe in a miserable life and if someone come to preach encouragement or build you to enjoy life, you resist them believing they are being sent by Satan. Same story the church did with TV and computers: I heard they were introduced to the church first before the world ( TO HELP THEM) but they spent much effort proving that computers and TV's are satanic.

Galatians 5:1 NLT So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law.

We are taught to fight sin (obeying the law of Moses) and when Jesus comes to liberate us(Rom. 8:2, 6:15,), we find it ungodly to be righteous only by faith, we want to berighteous by works.

I DON’T STOP SMOKING OR COMMITTING FORNICATION OR STEALING OR KILLING BECAUSE IT IS FORBIDDEN (LAW) OR BECAUSE IT IS WRONG. THE REASON I STOP IS BECAUSE WHEN I LOOK AT ALL THINGS THAT GOD HAS DONE FOR ME AND WHAT HE PROMISED TO DO, I AM OVERWHELMED BY THE DESIRE TO HONOR HIM AT LEAST WITH MY BODY. (ROM12:1)

PEOPLE RESIST GOD BECAUSE THEY THINK HE IS HERE TO STOP THEIR GOOD LIFE AND GIVE THEM BONDAGE OF RELIGION.

TAKE HIS HAND AND HE WILL TAKE YOU TO A PLACE YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD EVER REACH!
